As part of the Chlaydoscope project, we developed a methodology for conducting Youth Local Labs (find it in the Training Package – Module 7), which are innovative workshops focused on co-analyzing and co-designing solutions to address specific local challenges. These labs, led by Youth Community Leaders, foster a multidisciplinary environment by involving the local community and stakeholders. This collaborative approach ensures the practicality and feasibility of solutions on the ground, with the support of stakeholders and potential policy makers.
Our extensive collaboration with Youth Community Leaders throughout the project resulted in the creation of the “Youth-Led Impact” Handbook. This comprehensive guide showcases the implementation of local labs and provides tips from their experiences. The Handbook is a resource designed to assist Youth Community Leaders in organizing Youth Local Labs, offering practical insights starting from the Training Package, which includes tools and methodologies.
You can access the Training Package and the Handbook in the “Results” section of our website.
Going beyond a conventional manual, the “Youth-Led Impact” Handbook is a trans-media open resource. It actively encourages new contributions, welcoming multimedia files such as photos, videos, articles, and podcasts, thereby broadening its reach and impact.
